Aga Detka has been promoted to the position of Associate Director – Bids within the firm’s bid management team.
Aga plays a pivotal role in the firm's business winning activities through her involvement in all aspects of bid management.
She has overall responsibility for the creation of bids, tenders, submissions, pitches and presentations and has an excellent understanding of how best to structure a submission, articulate the firm’s strengths and align the company’s offering with client requirements.
Aga originally joined McBains in 2013 as a Project Delivery Administrator for the Olympic Village project. When that project ended and in recognition of her hard work ethic and proactiveness, McBains readily offered Aga the position of Marketing Assistant in 2014. Since then she has continued to impress and was made Bid Co-ordinator in 2015, Bid Manager in 2017 and Group Bid Manager in 2018. Aga is an excellent example of how committed McBains is to investing in high quality members of staff, supporting them to grow and develop their careers within the business.
