McBains secures place on Government Commercial Agency’s Construction Professionals Services 2 Framework

The four-year framework allows McBains to be appointed to call-off contracts by award without competition or competitive selection under the following lots:

• Lot 1 – General Infrastructure and Built Environment – provides access to expert construction professional services at discrete delivery stages, supporting a wide range of public sector building and infrastructure projects.
• Lot 4 – Commercial Management – provides access to professional commercial management services, supporting effective procurement, cost management and contract administration for public sector construction projects.

Government Commercial Agency (GCA) is the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connecting public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation. 

The RM6356 framework provides central government departments and other UK public sector bodies, including local authorities, health, police, fire and rescue, education and the devolved administrations, with a compliant, pre-approved route to access a wide range of construction-related professional services.

McBains is also currently appointed to Lot 8a (PFI Technical and Strategic Advice Services) and Lot 8b (PFI Surveying Services) of GCA’s Estate Management Services 2 framework (RM6343), and has previously provided services to a variety of clients via RM6356’s predecessors, RM3741 and RM6165.
