All of the above individuals possess the qualities expected of a senior McBains employee; being thoroughly professional, trustworthy, respectful and always willing to support their colleagues and the wider business. Their promotions demonstrate how committed we are to supporting staff to develop their careers within the business. Their new roles will enable McBains to continue to grow and it is this growth that will drive and generate further opportunities for others within the business.
MARY NEVELING has been promoted to the position of Director of Finance. Mary has proven to be a huge asset to the business since joining in February 2019. She is responsible for the financial control of the business through the management of robust financial processes and controls and ownership of all budgeting and forecasting processes.
CONOR O’BRIEN has been promoted to Project Director within the Thames Valley Cost Management team. Conor is an integral member of both the TCM team and wider working groups across the business. He is a very experienced surveyor and project manager with an incredibly strong work ethic, who is well respected by his peers and clients alike.
SIMON MCNABB has been promoted to Project Director within London Architecture. Since joining McBains in 2011, Simon has proven to be a very capable project architect, with an ability to drive programmes hard and to work well with both main contractors and clients alike
CHRIS BUNN has been promoted to the position of Associate Director within London Project Development. Chris is a technically- and commercially-able member of Project Development assuming responsibility for projects across a range of sectors, complexity and size.
JAMES FREETH has been promoted to the position of Associate Director within London Building Surveying. James has been a key member of the Building Surveying team since he joined at the beginning of 2018. He is respected in the team and coaches the more junior surveyors well.
ISABELLE LALIBERTE has been promoted to the position of Associate Director. She will also be transferring across to the Thames Valley Cost Management business unit to better align with her involvement with some of our key clients and future programme delivery for clients with multiple sites.
HAMISH MCLAUGHLIN has been promoted to Associate Director within London Project Development. Since joining in 2016, Hamish has confidently taken the lead on a number of high-profile projects and has embraced the McBains’ collaborative approach to build strong working relationships with clients and staff from across the business.
CLAUDIA CIOLI has been promoted to the position of Principal Sustainability Engineer within London Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Claudia is a highly motivated and proactive member of the team. Not only is she a highly qualified sustainability expert but Claudia champions sustainability at every opportunity.
KAYLEIGH CLARK has been promoted to the position of Project Architect within London Architecture. Kayleigh is a valued member of the Architecture team with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.
STEFANO CRISCIONE has been promoted to Senior Architect within London Housing & Masterplanning. He has worked consistently hard dealing with very large projects and has developed a good reputation with our clients for his meticulous and high-quality approach, together with his relaxed and personable nature
CARLOS GONZALES has been promoted to the position of Senior Project Manager within London Project Development. Carlos is a well-liked and respected member of the Project Development team. He has grown in both technical and management since joining McBains in 2016; to become a highly diligent and commercially aware project manager.
ROBBIE KIDD has been promoted to the position of Senior Cost Manager within London Cost Management. He is commercially aware, has a keen eye for detail and has proven to be capable of managing both his and other team member’s workloads.
ANTHONY OLATUNDE has been promoted to the role of Senior Building Services Engineer within London Mechanical & Electrical Engineering. Anthony is a proactive and diligent member of the team. He is both technically and professionally a very capable engineer, who is committed to the delivery of a first-class service.
JAVIER PEREZ CLEMENTE has been promoted to Senior Architectural Technician within London Housing & Masterplanning. A critical team member for the delivery of contracted work and ongoing BIM development, Javier delivers large volumes of work in remarkable timescales.
LUCILA PORTHE has been promoted to the position of Sustainability & BREEAM Assessor. Lucila runs a number of sustainability projects, as well as being passionate about the wider ESG agenda; taking a particular interest in the company’s social value strategy and driving a number of initiatives related to ESG within the business.
ELEONORA SISINNA has been promoted to the position of Senior Architect within London Housing & Masterplanning. Eleonora is a diligent and hard-working member of Housing & Masterplanning who is tremendously committed to the success of the team. She is extremely reliable at delivering against challenging deadlines with good humour and supporting team members in these work streams.
REGGIE WRIGHT has been promoted to the position of Senior Project Engineer within London Civil & Structural Engineering. Reggie combines his technical excellence with his inter-personal and collaborative skills to deliver a first-class service. He is a highly regarded member of the team who is well respected by his clients and peers alike.
GINA XYRAFA has been promoted to the position of Principal Engineer within McBains Cooper Hellas Technical Consulting S.A. (Athens office). Since joining in 2015, Gina has proven to be a valuable and highly diligent member of the Athens team. In addition to her engineering capabilities, Gina is also passionate about sustainability and spearheads our BREEAM initiatives in Greece.
