LEE WINGATE has been promoted to the position of Director within the London Civil & Structural team. Since joining McBains in 2021, Lee has established himself as a well-respected member of both the civil & structural and wider McBains teams. He has a strong and positive work ethic, being an integral part of many interdisciplinary projects and proactively implementing the ‘finding the better way’ ethos. Lee is also a great mentor and takes a proactive role in business development. His promotion reflects his value to McBains and will support the future growth of the civil & structural team.
DAN SHADRICK has been promoted to the position of Senior Cost Manager within London Cost Management. Dan joined the cost management team after he graduated in September 2020, subsequent to a successful placement year at McBains in 2018/19. During his time with McBains he has continued to demonstrate a thirst for learning and professional development; recently passing his APC and has developed into a highly competent and commercially-aware cost manager. He is a well-liked and reliable member of the team and builds good relationships with both client and project teams.
MIKE GARSIDE has been promoted to the position of Senior Cost Manager within London Cost Management. Since joining McBains in 2021, Mike has proven to be a highly technically-assured and competent cost manager, and always shows a willingness to support his colleagues and the wider business. In addition to achieving his APC during 2024, Mike was selected to partake in the firm’s inaugural NextGen initiative demonstrating a keenness to further develop his skillset and to contribute to the wider success of McBains.
JIEWEN FENG has been promoted to Principal Sustainability Engineer within London Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Jiewen is a highly valued member of the LME team. Her knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm have contributed significantly to the continuous improvement of the team’s sustainability offering. She demonstrates excellent coordination in leading projects and expertly mentors more junior staff. Her promotion reflects her dedication, commitment and support to sustainability and the wider firm, whilst empowering her to take on a more influential role in the management and development of the team.
ZOI PANISOI has been promoted to the position of Architect within London Housing & Masterplanning. Zoi is diligent and hard-working and tremendously committed to the success of the team. She consistently delivers a high quality, professional and collaborative approach to her work and projects, and is always eager to take on new skills and responsibilities. Zoi recently passed the RIBA Part III assessment to become a fully qualified architect, and her promotion recognises this professional achievement along with her contribution to the success of the London Housing & Masterplanning team.
MAHNOOR SHAH has been promoted to the position of Urban Designer within London Housing & Masterplanning. Mahnoor is efficient and highly motivated with a passion for design, problem-solving and innovation. Not only did Mahnoor recently achieve a distinction in her master's degree in urban development planning, but she also received the Bartlett accolade of 'Commendation' and 'a Special Recognition Award' for her degree dissertation. Her promotion recognises these incredible accomplishments, together with her value to the team.
ALISA KHAN has been promoted to the position of Architectural Designer within London Architecture. Alisa is a valued and a well-liked member of the team with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design. Alisa recently passed her Part 3 assessment to become a fully qualified architect. Her promotion recognises her personal commitment, hard work and recent professional achievement; whilst allowing her to further develop her career within McBains.
MY FITZGERALD has been promoted to the position of Architect within London Architecture. Since joining McBains at the end of 2023, My has grown in aptitude, confidence and experience; taking on an increasing level of responsibility in the development and delivery of projects. She is a highly regarded member of the team who is well respected by clients and peers alike. Her promotion recognises the growth of her skills and experience, together with her successful completion of the RIBA Part 3 assessment.
TOM BAILEY has been promoted to the position of Project Manager within London Project Development. Tom is a well-liked and respected member of the team. He has grown in confidence, knowledge and ability since joining McBains at the beginning of 2024; developing both technical and management capabilities to become a diligent and commercially aware project manager. His promotion reflects his contribution and will further support both his growth and that of the team.
ASTON BOLLANS has been promoted to the position of Project Manager within London Project Development. Aston is a technically- and commercially-able member of the team and has assumed an integral role within the delivery of the Brighton 3Ts Stage 2 project. Having joined McBains in 2023, Aston went on to achieve membership of the Association for Project Management (MAPM) last year. His promotion recognises this achievement, along with his value to the team. His new role will allow him to continue to excel in his field whilst assisting in the growth of the team.
