McBains project wins Hotel Interior of the Year Award 2022

A hotel refurbishment scheme, project managed by McBains, has been selected as the 'Hotel Interior of the Year' at the Designer Awards 2022 hosted by Designerati magazine.

The Graduate Cambridge Hotel underwent a full interior refurbishment in 2021.

Previously the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, the 148-room Graduate Cambridge underwent a refurbishment of all of its interior areas, including all rooms, common spaces, fitness club and pool. The ground floor now features a cafe and bar, full-service restaurant, flexible meeting areas and al fresco dining spaces.

McBains provided project management services to this and another hotel project - The Randolph Hotel by Graduate Hotels - on behalf of Chicago-based real estate company AJ Capital Partners, who acquired the properties for the Graduate Hotels brand; a boutique hotel collection focused on university towns.
