Planning approval has been granted for our masterplan for parcel 7 at Kingsgrove in Wantage, Oxfordshire.
The scheme, designed by McBains on behalf of Vistry Homes, will deliver 116 new homes on the seventh land parcel at Kingsgrove; a new urban extension to the north-east of Wantage.
Kingsgrove is a sustainable, mixed-use development set to provide 1,500 new homes overall, together with employment space, a neighbourhood centre / community hub, a new primary school and ancillary areas.
Our design for parcel 7 provides a mix of one- and two-bedroom flats, together with two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, across a mix of tenures.
All of the new homes at Kingsgrove will be centred around a neighbourhood hub featuring a range of amenities, including allotments and a community orchard. The wider masterplan will also provide 100 acres of green space, including a new public park and new woodland.
