Since joining in 2000, Anthony has held a number of influential roles within the business. He is a natural innovator and pioneered the use of geothermal energy in the UK, with his ideas and solutions going on to become industry-standard. He has extensive experience of designing and implementing sustainable solutions for a wide variety of building types and has won numerous industry awards and commendations.

Anthony is also the driving force behind international projects at McBains and set up our Athens office in 2009, capitalising on his 33 years' worth of experience of delivering projects in countries as diverse as Dubai, Jordan, Greece, Cyprus, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Colombia, Mexico, Montenegro and the UK.

He has delivered many PFIs and PPS acting as Technical Advisor to the authority and the Lenders. He also provides PFI FM consultancy support on many complex projects both at inception and during the operation period and at handback.

Most recently, through his position as Commercial Director, Anthony has successfully aligned our business development activity with the business strategy to leverage business and market opportunities.

Anthony is our international man of mystery: of Greek origin but born in Alexandria, he is multi-lingual, loves Italian food and rates the Greek islands and Cape Verde as his favourite destinations.
