A highly experienced and versatile chartered surveyor, Chris is able to perform the role of quantity surveyor, project manager, employer’s agent and / or project monitoring surveyor.

Trusted and highly respected by clients and peers alike, Chris manages some of the firm’s longest-standing clients; whose regular repeat business is testament to his unfaltering quality of service and professionalism.

He has worked across a variety of sectors but has a particular specialism within the industrial sector, having delivered several million square feet of industrial development.

Chris originally joined the firm straight from school in 1989. He was feeling unsure of what career path to take at the time but received a very timely offer of a trainee surveyor position from a friend of his parents. Luckily for us, he accepted the position and embarked on his highly successful career in the industry. Chris did leave the McBains fold temporarily in 1997 but saw the error of his ways and returned in 2006!!

A lifelong Chelsea FC fan, Chris met his wife at a match and, together with their children, are still avid supporters. Aside from football, Chris loves cricket and music.
