Chris Stevens

Chris is Director of our mechanical and electrical engineering team and has delivered projects of varying scale and complexity for major public and private sector clients, including government departments, local authorities, healthcare bodies and large corporate organisations.

A highly technically-competent engineer, Chris works closely with clients and end users to develop practical, efficient and well‑integrated solutions; ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept through to completion.

His experience spans a broad range of sectors, including education, commercial offices, residential, healthcare, hotels and defence, covering new build, refurbishment, fit‑out and maintenance programmes. Chris is particularly valued for his ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, deliverable outcomes that align with wider project objectives.

Alongside his project leadership role, Chris plays an active part in further developing McBains’ MEP capability, contributing to the growth of the team through mentoring, training and knowledge sharing, and championing high standards of quality, collaboration and professional development.
