Erika Porquier

Erika is a Project Director with extensive experience in bid management and public-sector projects across the UK and Europe. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Pisa and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner.

She began her career in Italy, working in bid and project management roles on EU-funded cooperation programmes focused on social infrastructure and public services. This included regular engagement with European Commission officers and visits to the European Parliament, supporting the coordination and delivery of multi-partner programmes.

Since moving to the UK, Erika has worked predominantly in the public sector, supporting central government, local authorities and public bodies. At McBains, she leads the bid management team and is involved in strategic bids and frameworks, working closely with technical teams, directors and external partners to shape clear, compliant and well-coordinated submissions.

Italian by birth, Erika naturally loves good food and long conversations at the table, sipping good wine in good company. She collects gym memberships but never visits gyms, loves music and live gigs, and counts handclapping as a workout. She loves languages and speaks (almost!) three.
