John Stapleton

John is a chartered construction and OSH professional with extensive experience at all levels of construction management. His 35-year career has taken him from hands-on site work as a civil engineering operative through to leading health and safety strategy and service delivery at McBains.

His expertise spans CDM compliance, risk management, fire safety advice, safety management systems, accident investigation and PAS91 auditing. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, John is known for his practical, solutions-driven approach that focuses on collaboration, clear communication and proactive risk management to help teams deliver projects safely and efficiently.

John’s broad experience across both the public and private sectors enables him to engage confidently at every level, from site teams through to senior client leadership; promoting a positive safety culture that focuses on preventing harm rather than simply managing incidents.

Originally from Tipperary, John remains a passionate supporter of Tipperary Hurling and Munster Rugby, following the highs and lows of both with equal dedication.
