A group of high potential candidates from McBains recently embarked on an emerging leaders' programme (ELP) organised by parent company RSBG UK.
Earlier this month, Erika Porquier, Robbie Kidd, Kayleigh Clark and David Plumstead joined colleagues from other businesses within the RSBG UK group of companies for the ELP's first session.
The programme is aimed at cultivating future talent by delivering a balanced introduction to professional management and leadership, enabling candidates to maximise their leadership potential and play an integral role in supporting the business going forward.
A total of 20 candidates have embarked on the 14-month programme, creating a supportive community of like-minded peers from both McBains and its sister companies.
Underpinned by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the programme is delivered via a mix of CMI modules, an RSBG UK CPD supplementary pathway of activities and individual workplace-linked occupational development plans.
Each participant has a supporting sponsor within the management team to provide coaching and mentoring.
