Sixteen teams competed in the event that took place at the Nine Elms Powerleague venue in South West London on Thursday June 1st in support of Children's Charity Jigsaw4u.
Having narrowly missed out on the top spot at the recent Construction Industry Dragon Boat Challenge, we were keen to demonstrate our sporting prowess once again at the Kings of Construction Five-a-side Football Tournament.
Our players - Warwick Stockdale, Daniel Shadrick, Rory Leonard-Morgan, James Staerck, Jonte Gould, Robbie Kidd and Oliver Bass - showed incredible teamwork and skill to make it through to the semi-finals where they drew 1-1 against K2 and were then cruelly knocked out of the competition on penalties.
