The 1,600 m² Lufthansa lounge at Heathrow T2 was upgraded to align with Lufthansa’s latest design concept and brand standards.
The refurbishment introduced more clearly defined functional zones, alongside the replacement of flooring, partitions, and furniture, enhancing both passenger flow and overall comfort. Existing privacy phone booths were improved, along with the introduction of additional booths.
Delivered to a premium standard, the revitalised lounge offers an elevated experience for Business class and Senator status travellers.

This project builds on McBains’ longstanding relationship with the German aviation group, following previous collaborations on Lufthansa passenger lounges at Heathrow and Dubai airports.
McBains was previously appointed to work on the original provision of Business and Senator lounges for Lufthansa at Heathrow T2, as well as to deliver new Business and Senator lounges within Dubai airport’s concourse D.
Lufthansa lounges are designed to support both relaxation and productivity, incorporating dedicated business centres alongside kitchen facilities, offices, meeting rooms, and fully equipped toilet and shower amenities.
