McBains secures place on newly launched Asset Management and Professional Support Services framework.
Procured with contracting authority Sanctuary, and managed by Pretium Frameworks, the Asset Management and Professional Support Services (AMPSS) Framework, offers a simple route to access consultancy, management and support services across housing and property maintenance, delivered by a range of experienced consultants in a single lot.
It covers a wide range of support, including reviewing current services, designing better ways of working, improving performance, and introducing new systems or processes. It also includes expert advice, project and programme management, procurement support, and specialist services such as building safety and compliance.
Anthony Coumidis, Commercial Director at McBains, commented: “We’re thrilled to have secured a place on the AMPSS Framework, which provides a strong and flexible route for public sector organisations to access specialist asset management and property services expertise.
“The framework aligns closely with McBains’ experience in supporting clients across the full asset lifecycle - from strategic advice and compliance through to operational delivery.
“We look forward to working with framework users to help improve performance, deliver value and support long‑term transformation.”
In addition, the framework supports day-to-day operational delivery. This includes areas such as repairs and maintenance, planned works, asset management, contract and financial management and performance monitoring. It can also provide interim management, additional resources, and support with supply chains and workforce planning.
“We’re absolutely delighted to launch this new framework with Sanctuary, giving contracting authorities access to experienced consultants and operational specialists across asset management, property services, and transformation,” said Jessica John, Director of Pretium.
“Covering the full lifecycle from strategy and design through to delivery, operations, and continuous improvement, it gives framework users end-to-end support, supporting both short-term needs and longer-term transformation programmes.
“We look forward to working with our sector colleagues at Sanctuary to support the sector in planning, delivering and improving its housing and property maintenance activities.”
Overall, the framework enables organisations to assess, transform and manage their asset and property services more effectively, with both strategic consultancy and hands-on operational support available.
Mark Ridge, Group Procurement Manager – Construction, at Sanctuary, said: “Due to the breadth of our asset portfolio and our wide geographical coverage, the Asset Management and Professional Support Services (AMPSS) framework is a good fit for Sanctuary.
“The ability to draw on the wealth of expertise and support that this framework provides will be key in supporting the services we deliver now and in the future.”
The framework is open to any public sector organisation throughout the UK, and members of their supply chain, from housing providers and local authorities to NHS Hospital Trusts.
