Our 2025 Staff Conference brought together colleagues from across McBains for a day focused on learning, collaboration and connection.
Hosted on Friday 27th June, the conference provided space to step away from day-to-day work and reflect on the bigger picture, from the projects we're delivering and the challenges we’re solving, to how we continue to work better together.
The day included a mix of presentations, team activities, and open conversations, with a strong focus on sharing ideas and hearing from different parts of the business. It was also a chance to showcase the wide range of work happening across our teams and the impact it’s having.
This year’s event carried particular significance, coinciding with both our 100th and 240th anniversary milestones. It offered a valuable moment to look back at our journey as a business, while also looking ahead to where we’re going next.
A preview of our upcoming website was shared during the day, and staff feedback has been central in shaping its development. Feedback on the event overall was also very positive, with many highlighting the value of being able to meet new colleagues, gain insight into different areas of the business, and take time to reflect.
