McBains Associate Director & BIM Lead, Devan Mistry, recently attended BRE's campus to receive certification on behalf of McBains for achieving ISO19650-2:2-18 Information Management Certification for Businesses using BIM.
McBains continues to be at the forefront of digital maturity and adoption. This certification demonstrates that our BIM processes, procedures, documentation and quality assurance checks are aligned with ISO 19650 - the internationally-recognised standard for managing information over the whole life-cycle of a built asset using BIM, and which supersedes the BS 1192 and PAS 1192 standards.
As an early adopter of BIM, McBains has been aligning to industry-recognised standards for many years; achieving BIM Level 2 certification back in 2016.
