The framework enables local authorities and public bodies to access consultants in the low carbon energy sector who are able to provide a wide breadth of advice relating to decarbonisation
McBains has been awarded a place on ESPO’s Consultancy for Decarbonisation / Net Zero Strategies framework (500), which enables local authorities and public bodies to access consultants in the low carbon energy sector who are able to provide a wide breadth of advice relating to decarbonisation and support customers on reducing their energy demands and carbon emissions through the development of decarbonisation targets and strategies.
The framework provides customers with a comprehensive range of services that will aid in meeting net zero objectives across all stages of project delivery. This may include providing objective advice relating to net zero strategy and carbon reduction programmes, including the identification of low / lower carbon options with recommendations, as well as implementation and delivery advice and support.
ESPO is a non-profit making body, owned and operated jointly by six local authorities, whose key objective is to help its member authorities achieve optimum value for money when buying goods and services. The framework is available to local authorities served by ESPO, together with any public body; including central government agencies and ministries, NHS and emergency services, schools, academies, colleges and universities, registered charities and registered social landlords.
The framework will run for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further period or periods up to a total of 2 years taking the contract term to a maximum of 4 years.
Anthony Coumidis, Director at McBains commented: “We’re incredibly proud to have been awarded a place on ESPO’s Consultancy for Decarbonisation / Net Zero Strategies framework (500) and look forward to assisting ESPO’s customers with their carbon reduction journeys”.
