Since the lifting of Covid restrictions, staff at McBains have been relishing the opportunity to network with friends, peers and clients from the industry.
On Thursday June 30, 2022, McBains hosted a select group of highly valued clients at Henley Royal Regatta. Weather conditions were mixed on the day but the afternoon's rain showers didn't deter the rowers and nor did they dampen the spirits of the McBains representatives - Clive Docwra, Mary Neveling, Isabelle Laliberté, Stuart Smart, Chris Lawson and Denise O'Leary – and their guests.
McBains was able to secure tickets for the prestigious event through Mary Neveling and Isabelle Laliberté's membership of the Remenham Club, a private members rowing club formed in 1909. Both Mary and Isabelle were able to apply for membership through their involvement and competitive rowing efforts with Vesta Rowing Club, a founding member of Remenham. In fact, Mary was part of the senior VIIIs squad to win at Henley Women's Regatta in 2004.
The day was a huge success and enjoyed immensely by both staff and clients alike.
