Staff from across McBains came together recently for a company-wide conference in the magnificent city of Copenhagen.
The event was an invaluable opportunity to bring people together face-to-face; facilitating reconnection and fostering an increased sense of belonging and common purpose.
The main elements of the conference programme were a series of presentations, followed by an opportunity to explore the city as part of a team building activity and a company-wide social event in the evening. The presentations gave staff a flavour of how the company is performing and how we’re planning for an even bigger and better future.
The over-riding theme of the conference was innovation. At McBains, we’ve always been focused on ‘finding the better way’ and it’s through innovation that we make this goal a reality and in turn continue to grow the business and influence the industry.
One of the reasons we chose Denmark as the location for our staff conference is the fact that the Danish people are, in general, natural innovators. The city of Copenhagen is considered forward-thinking, innovative and eco-focused; all attributes that we want to develop further within McBains.
Clive Docwra, Managing Director, commented: “The company has grown considerably since the pandemic and with staff now hybrid working, we felt it was important to get everyone together in person for something truly special. I’d like to thank all of those that attended for their enthusiasm and contribution to a truly memorable event”.
