Acutely aware of the challenges brought about by the pandemic – not least to those who joined McBains as new members of staff during that time – McBains recently hosted an informal and voluntary networking event for all those that have joined the company since the start of 2020.
Covid-19 has made starting a new job a very different experience to usual, with some new starters having never been into the office or having an opportunity to meet their line manager or colleagues face-to-face.
The event on 22nd March aimed to counter this by giving new joiners the opportunity to meet one another, along with key members of staff from across the business.
With Covid restrictions now relaxed and the workplace entering a new era of hybrid working, we hope to welcome more staff back to the office – both new starters and old timers alike! – and look forward to being able to host more staff social events in the future.
