Exciting progress is being made on DWP’s new offices in the heart of Blackpool
The new state-of-the-art, sustainable building, developed by Blackpool Council, Muse, and VINCI Construction, will serve as a vibrant hub for Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) staff across the northwest.
Forming part of the multi-million-pound Talbot Gateway project, the seven-storey, purpose-built office building will act as a further catalyst for the regeneration of Blackpool town centre.
The energy efficient, low carbon building has been designed to be BREEAM Excellent; incorporating measures to ensure long-term sustainability and promote occupant well-being.
McBains has been providing technical compliance services to DWP since RIBA Stage 2, with the project set for completion in 2025.
