The Dorsett Shepherds Bush is a four‑star hotel providing 317 guest rooms, together with a comprehensive range of ancillary facilities including restaurants, bars, meeting rooms, spa and wellness facilities, and an executive lounge. 

The scheme was delivered through a complex refurbishment and partial demolition strategy, retaining the listed façade of the former Shepherds Bush Pavilion cinema, while introducing a new internal structure and accommodation layout suitable for modern hotel use. A newly glazed roof following the original curved profile crowns the building, bringing natural light into the upper levels.

The Shepherds Bush Pavilion presented a highly challenging redevelopment scenario. Although externally protected by its Grade II listing, the internal fabric had deteriorated significantly following years of vacancy. The project therefore required a carefully balanced approach, combining heritage conservation with substantial new construction.

The original award‑winning façade was retained with minimal alteration, ensuring the building continued to address Shepherds Bush Green with its historic presence. Behind the retained envelope, sections of the former cinema structure were selectively demolished and replaced with a new internal superstructure.
