The project is the second and final phase of the two-phased Royal Mint Street masterplan development featuring a mix of residential and hospitality units contained within four buildings. Phase 1 includes 266 residential units across three blocks (Blocks B, C and D) and was completed in 2020.

A heavily constrained site, the development sits directly above the DLR train lines with a Network Rail viaduct running along the northern boundary.

Dublin-based aparthotel operator Staycity Group has secured a 30-year lease to operate its Wilde Aparthotels brand at the aparthotel building.

McBains undertook initial due diligence to advise the lender on technical and commercial risks and are monitoring the development until its completion.
